本科 Certificate in French 

Focus on composition, reading 和 writing, 和 conversational French with the 本科 Certificate in French in the College of Liberal 艺术 at Temple University. 

更多的 than 200 million people across five continents speak French. This 20-credit certificate program introduces undergraduates to the French language 和 Francophone cultures. As you progress through the various levels of language courses, you’ll learn the fundamentals of grammar 和 vocabulary, 和 you’ll work to develop sophisticated conversational 技能. 

These 技能 will allow you to speak, read 和 write confidently in French for the purposes of your professional or personal pursuits, 在美国.S. 和国外.

Certificates are awarded only at the time of completion of the bachelor's degree 和 cannot be awarded either as a st和-alone program of study or after completion of the first bachelor's degree.

Students are required to complete 20 credits of language courses. Course requirements include the following. 

• Introduction to French I
• Introduction to French II
• Introduction to French III
• Intermediate French
• French for 业务

After completing the core courses, students may choose to focus on specific areas of the French language, including conversational French, reading or composition.
